Lulu and Charlotte - heartbreaking

It was so sad to watch Lulu get hurt by Charlotte's temper tantrum   And altho it was heartwarming for Nina to embrace Charlotte , it is also heartbreaking for Lulu who deserves to be her daughters mother and have her love.  Nina should be making an effort to bring them together but her overwhelming desire to be a mother herself is preventing her ... so instead she is defending the husband she barely knows 

I understand your feelings but in light of the situation, Lulu is going about it totally wrong.  She knows that Charlotte only knows Valentin as her parent and loved Claudette as her mother.   She doesn't know Lulu at all.   The smart thing to do would for Lulu to just get to know Charlotte as a friend, an "aunt" so to speak, so the little girl could learn about her, learn to trust her.   Didn't Lulu admit that she went about introducing herself to Charlotte in the wrong way?  Charlotte, at least at her age, doesn't understand or care about "biological mother" as opposed to flesh and blood in-the-room mother.   I know it will be hard for Lulu to accept that she has to back off....   but that is the only way.

Lulu did admit to Laura that she had done the Spencer thing and it was a mistake.  
Laura hasn't forgiven Val for killing Nik. She appeared to be willing to kill Val.           Someone else may do the deed, but Laura might be blamed.

Nope not at all sorry she is putting herself before Charlotte's own sorry but too bad so sad

so now Maxie is thrown in the mix...
her heart might have been in the right place, but that was a wrong move on her part, she should have just minded her own business...
speaking of which, I guess she'll need to find a new job - wonder how Nathan will react to his sister firing his wife?

Maxie never minds her own business.
If Nathan is off screen right now, he won't know about Maxie's job. And she's a married lady now, so he should support her financially.

Lulu really needs counselling to help her with her transition into Charlotte's life and to help her over come her very natural urges.

I actually don't think that Maxie was wrong. Maxie only agreed not to talk about Lulu at work. I'm annoyed that she didn't ask Nina what she would do if she found out that her baby was really alive and part of someone else's family. Would she learn it and then just walk away and do nothing? Nina knows that she'd move heaven and earth for her own child and maybe it would help her to see Maxie's POV.

I'm hoping that this becomes a storyline of girl power and how Maxie Lulu and Nina work together to help the families come together.

Girl Power is a great idea, but I don't see Nina working with Lulu to help Charlotte accept her as her mother.  IMO Nina's desire to be a mother is overtaking any rational thinking on her part, Nina is loving the attachment Charlotte has with her.  Nina's other mistake was firing Maxie, she relied on her fashion knowledge, Nina has none good luck with Crimson now lady!

I do have to say I fell really bad for Lulu with this entire mess.

Should be interesting to see how Nina copes without Maxie at Crimson.  I hope she ends up having to beg Maxie to return to work 

Nina really did kidnap Ava's baby with Franco's help and take her to Canada. So she is obsessed with having a child. She wasn't thinking of the child's best interests or its mother's feelings. She acted worse 
than LuLu, who hasn't just taken Charlotte and run.
And she wanted to force Franco into sharing his twisted DNA so that she could give birth. And she tried to buy a baby.
Either Val hasn't checked into his bride's background very carefully or he doesn't intend to keep her around forever. In any case, Nina's history should be enough to keep Val from getting total custody.

My Thought as well, Diane will rip Nina apart in court, should be a shocker to EVal

I have to wonder if it is yet to come out, it just seemed like Nora was warning them that they better not have any skeletons in they're closets I'm guessing Diane will get their.

Yes, i hope Diane comes back with the dirt on Nina.  It was really dumb for Laura to expect that her little talk with Nina was going to sway her over to Lulu's side as there is no love lost between those two and Nina would rather have full custody of Charlotte than share with Lulu. 

I wish someone would explain to me how it is that Valentin ended up with Charlotte... i think at trial he said he's had her since birth but what about Claudette ?  I dont get it ...   I just know that theres no way he'd have legal custody of a baby without any mention of the mother !

this trial seems all messed up ~ difficult to follow, and it's like they've skipped over some pretty crucial stuff,
glad to know I;m not the only one feeling confused.

I also wondered about the Claudette thing. She was not always with Claudette.

It made me remember how Valentin approached her on the plane. He didn't say you have my daughter. He said you have something of mine. At the time, I wondered whether there was actually something hidden in the child's clothing or the child was a front for another theft. I don't put something and a child in the same sentence.

Nina is obsessed with having a child. But LuLu has also been obsessed with her having another child, not satisfied with the one she has that belongs to her and Dante.

I have to say I'm not surprised as to the outcome, but I don't get Diane I thought for sure she would go after Nina's past.  I also don't understand them saying EVal was the one constant in her life, didn't Claudette have her in hiding????? I'm confused

You and me both ! It makes me so mad that none of that was mentioned in court so it looked like Valentin and Nina are so pure when we kinow he's evil and she's mental.  The doctor and the judge should have given more consideration to Lulu being Charlottes real mother rather than allowing Nina's continuing influence on the child - its like brainwashing to someone that young since she doesnt know any better. The visitations will be awkward and almost impossible for them to bond as mother and child.  Poor Lulu.  First Rocco was kept from her and now this.

I feel for Lulu but she is going about this the TOTALLY wrong way.  Charlotte loves her father and doesn't know Lulu at all.   Lulu must get to be friends first...must let Charlotte get to know her first.  To Charlotte, Lulu is an aggressive crazy woman.   You can't ignore that she is happy in the world that she knows.   I thought Lulu is just her own worst enemy in this fight.
