There is always at least one horrible contestant on every BB edition. So Omarosa will just be ignored by me.

I do wonder if Celebrity BB will work the same as the regular BB.

It's the first Celebrity American version. The U.K. has done it before, perhaps some others.

There will be 13 episodes, including 4 two hour shows. So it will be quick. I imagine it would have to be to accomadate the celebs schedules.

I agree with you 100%. The pros are much more predictable than the celebrities at this point in the show. But they only work their magic if they have a partner who thrives with their kind of teaching.

Your bringing up Marilu's season is a nice example. I went into that season knowing that Derek needed to be out at least three weeks before the end so that he could do other more important stuff like Hairspray and his Disney holiday stuff. He was seriously over extended and I was worried that he was going to make himself sick and then crash and burn. Having him paired with the elderly Marilu was a way for him to be a part of the show but with a guarantee that he would be out in time to start the other stuff. So I did not want Marilu to win, but I did want her to get far enough along to make a good showing (for both their sakes). But the woman drove me nuts. She had mega anxiety and control issues and that sucked out any enjoyment I might have had in supporting him that season. Every dance they did got me anxious. I felt relieved when she was gone. After that Hinch got all my votes and watching the show became fun again.

Cast and crew members aboard a Dancing with the Stars: Live! tour bus are “fine” and recovering after they were involved in a “multi-car accident” en route to Ames, Iowa.

The official DWTS: Live! tour Instagram account announced hours before its previously scheduled Monday evening show began in Ames, Iowa, that the production would be canceled due to the crash.

“One of the tour buses transporting cast and crew of Dancing with the Stars: Live! Light Up The Night was involved in a multi-car accident this afternoon due to bad weather while en route to Ames, Iowa,” the post began. “All cast and crew members are fine, with some recovering from minor injuries.”

“Given this unforeseen accident, and the fact that the safety and health of our cast and crew is of the utmost importance, tonight’s show at Stephens Auditorium in Ames, IA has been cancelled,” the post continued.

“To anyone involved in the accident, the entire cast sends their best wishes for a speedy recovery, and their deepest apologies to all of the fans who have been waiting to see the show tonight,” the caption stated. “Information regarding rescheduling and/or refunds will be available soon.”

Though it has not yet been revealed which cast members were on the bus at the time of the crash, pros Keo Motsepe, Emma Slater, Artem Chigvinstev, Sharna Burgess, Gleb Savchenko, Lindsay Arnold, Alan Bersten are on the tour, along with troupe members Jenna Johnson, Hayley Erbert, Brandon Armstrong and Sasha Farber.

Jordan Fisher, who won season 25 of Dancing with the Stars and is also currently on the tour, tweeted his gratitude.

“Thanking God for the safety of our crew,” Fisher wrote. “Thanks for the prayers and well-wishes.”

Glad that they weren't hurt too badly, the weather here in Iowa has been atrocious all day. Sending hugs and get well soon thoughts to all.

I see Julianne will be joining brother Derek on the upcoming (May) season of Worrld of Dance. I really enjoyed the first season, even liked Derek, lol. I am looking forward to it.

Andrew Llinares will take over the veteran ABC reality competition series.

ABC has a new dance partner on Dancing With the Stars.

Reality veteran Andrew Llinares will take over as showrunner for the forthcoming all-athletes cycle of Dancing With the Stars.

"Dancing With the Stars is one of the largest scale shows on television, and I love that it provides a place for me, as a producer, to have big, ambitious ideas that I can then bring to life," Llinares tells The Hollywood Reporter. "It can be quite the undertaking to come in to a show that has been on the air for 25 seasons, but I’m excited about taking on the challenge and finding new ways to take the show forward."

Llinares moved from the U.K. to L.A. in 2011 to launch Fox's The X Factor as exec producer and showrunner. The Simon Cowell-led series ran for three seasons before being canceled.

A couple of weeks ago I heard they are still going to present a kiddie version of DWTS. No date mentioned. I think with a new show runner we could see some changes. I also heard DWTS is mulling over rotating pros in and out to keep things more interesting. Only saw that once though.

I watched SYTYCD when it was kids 8-13. I had to stop watching because I couldn't stand to see the kids crying. The ratings dropped and they went back to the regular show the next season.

I feel the same,no kiddie season for me.I do like to see kids do a dance routine but I would rather not see the "process" and I know I don't want to see any "produced" packages they typically show of the dancers in training.

Athlete season pro speculation. Gleb in for sure, the Chmerkovskiy trio, Peta, Maks, Val out due to their tour. Probably Jenna, Lindsay and Witney. No Derek, Julianne and not likely Mark.
