In “Episode 305B,” which airs TUESDAY, AUGUST 30 (8:00–9:00 p.m. EDT), the story picks up as we rejoin at last night’s dramatic cliffhanger. After a confrontation with one jealous woman, a beautiful bachelorette makes the shocking decision to leave Paradise early! A passive bachelor finally takes control of his heart and makes his dramatic decision to pursue love chasing down a car to leave Paradise with his connection. The jealous woman is shocked and tearful, as she realizes her plans to get rid of the competition have backfired.

A confident bachelorette and her date return to Paradise hand in hand, much to the dismay of one already emotional woman. When the stretched-thin bachelor confronts the emotional bachelorette, he’s shocked by her unexpected reaction. Will she be able to keep her cool, or will her heart be pushed to its limits?

Competition heats up as two fresh faces arrive in Paradise with a double-date card. Tensions are stirred further when they ask out two spoken-for men, who accept, leaving their previous connections unhappy. The two newcomers take their dates for a day of surfing on beautiful beaches of Sayulita, Mexico. Each bachelor has a great time connecting and sharing kisses with their dates, further complicating their existing connections back home.

Having gone on three dates with three different women in a very short span of time, one well-intentioned but overwhelmed bachelor finds himself more confused than ever. Just as the tension between two long-time rivals begins to negatively affect relationships in Paradise, one scrutinized couple receives a well-timed date card, allowing them time away from the house drama.

The sweet single mother and her temperamental beau get away from the house for an unexpected but well deserved date.  More and more, she gets to know who her man really is and has lingering questions about some of the flaws that have upset others in the house. Will the hopeful bachelorette be able to get past his behavior, or will she be blinded by love? 

Over the course of six weeks, we’ll follow these former bachelors and bachelorettes as they explore new relationships while living together in Mexico in a secluded and dreamy paradise. America will watch as they fall in love or go through renewed heartbreak. “Bachelor in Paradise” will feature shocking twists, surprises, unexpected guests and some of the most unlikely relationships in “Bachelor” history. There’s no telling who will find love this season, just like Jade and Tanner did last year with their engagement and subsequent wedding.

Current “Bachelor in Paradise” contestants Wells, Caila and Jared, as well as Paul Scheer and Flula Borg, are panelists on ABC’s hit after-show “Bachelor in Paradise: After Paradise” on Tuesday, August 30 (9:00–10:00 p.m. EDT), following “Bachelor in Paradise.”  
  
“After Paradise” will feature host Collins and co-host Lowe discussing and dissecting the most recent episodes of “Bachelor in Paradise,” alongside cast members and celebrity fans. Bachelor fans know Collins from her time on daytime talker “The View” as the biggest fan of “The Bachelor” and “The Bachelorette,” while Lowe found love on the 17th season of “The Bachelor” with now wife Catherine. The couple recently welcomed son Samuel. Together, they’ll present questions and comments from viewers, debut deleted scenes, outtakes and exclusive extra content, all the while allowing members of #BachelorNation to finally have their say.

As you probably know, Sis, I wander around on all sorts of forums and yesterday I began to hear oodles of speculation about Nick becoming TB. He has certainly been on a redemption edit on BIP and his image has really been rehabbed. I've gotten to like to the guy to my surprise! I think his season will not be boring and I will watch for sure.

After watching AP and hearing Ashley talk about the conversations that are edited out, I don't wish the TB on anyone who isn't
familiar with the producers' manipulations.  Nick is an expert on that!  Didn't Jared look handsome tonight?

Well, I didn't see that coming, Nick being the bachelor.  Wouldn't that be considered the first time someone became the bachelor based on his appearance on Paradise?  But he became like a fan favorite on Paradise.  It's funny that they made the announcement now before we see the ending of the Nick and Jen story on Paradise.  Maybe TPTB sensed the viewers were getting tired of After Paradise LOL, needed to inject some excitement in there.

I'm happy for him that he has this opportunity.  I'm sure he'll get a lot of criticism from people for new things after Bachelor starts to air, but then what else is new.  He said emphatically on Afterbuzz that the producers do NOT edit.  So I can hold him to that, Lol.  Hopefully fourth time's a charm for him.  Two times almost getting engaged on national television is almost too much for anyone to take.  Well, that's all in the past now! hopefully:D

Yes, it's getting harder to defend Ashley, particularly when she won't take any responsibility for contributing to the breakup of her friend Jared and Caila.  That's the way I see it.

I like the off-the-shoulder blue and white striped top that Jen was wearing near the beginning of tonight's episode.  Where can I get one?   I don't do enough shopping. lol

I wasn't really hoping for any particular bachelor to be named, so hearing Nick is next doesn't excite or disappoint me.  I'll watch regardless just because I think his women will be a little crazy.  

However, I'm surprised it wasn't Luke.  I wonder what happened there.

It's being said that Nick is so sincere and deserving, that's why they chose him.  It seems more like he knows what they want and knows how to make it interesting.  He knows how things work and what the show expects.  We should have seen this coming when he got such a good edit on BIP.  I'm like you and wasn't hoping for anyone particular.  I wonder if Nick holds the record for appearing the most times on a Bach show.

I'm glad that they went off the radar and chose Nick instead of one of the other bachelors from last season. It will probably be more interesting. He seems like he sincerely wants true love and he's not a kid.
