Is anyone watching?  I broke my boycott even after watching 10 minutes last night. LOL

Just started the dvr playing so I'm 15 min behind ( in order to hopefully avoid commercials) LOL

I think the show 'jumped the shark' last night. It seems ABC is telling us it is all fake...not a 'reality' show at all...so there really isn't anything to discuss. But, alas, I am still watching..I do like the people on After Paradise Show..

Thought Jason Biggs was hysterical on After Paradise.  Prefer him over his wife, Jenny Mollen.
Overjoyed that CH will announce the name of the next Bach on next week's show.

I'm pleasantly surprised to see Jason Biggs on After Paradise... haven't finished watching.

There was an unofficial announcement on the name of the next Bach.  I'll see if it was correct or wrong.

I've watched more of After Paradise.  Jason IS hysterical.... hahahaha 

Had to crack up when he drank from the coconut and referred to it as his MOLLY.

HELP!!  I fell asleep and awoke to the beginning of After Paradise.  Can anyone tell me who gave who a rose and who went home?  TIA.

There wasn't a rose ceremony yet.

I questioned JJ's answer to why he didn't have a job.  He said he quit due to the divorce and raising his child.  Was this a convoluted way of saying his ex wanted alimony or elevated child support and he quit to eliminate the income that would have allowed it?  Very curious (and rehearsed?) way of answering the question.

It was also disturbing to hear his one-liners in regard to not only Josh's intelligence, but to insult Megan's as well.  Megan does appear to be a ditz, but if you're enjoying her and your date, why bring it up?

Seeing the promos in what looks to be Josh dumping Tenley, I'm doubly sorry she didn't choose Michael.

Do you think Dan will last with Amber?  Is it just me, or does she seem WAY too young for him?  So Ashley S. is back to "winging" it with the crazies.  One of the guys mentioned that vacant look she gets in her eyes.  It's what I've noticed all along.  She looks like the lights are on but no one's home.  I'm consumed with curiosity about what she displayed that sent up those red flags for Dan.

They're making it appear that Ashley I. will be giving it up to win a man.  Lord, I hope she doesn't follow the route her sister has - finding her worth in delivering the goods.  It's not the route to her much-needed self-esteem.  Perhaps this offer of her virginity is what leads Jared to confess his enduring love for Kaitlyn?

PS:  I hope both Joe and Samantha (evidently the brains of this outfit) receive their karma before leaving the show.  And Juelia, for God's sake, suck it up!

This show is really getting pretty out there - I have a few comments on the couples:

Joe and Sam:  It is very clear that Joe and Samantha were already in a sort of relationship and decided to use the show to get a free vacation and be on TV.  The "date" played right into what Samantha wanted - which is more air time and to be in People/on TV whatever.  If you look at it like this - Joe and Sam are talking, both decide to do the show, they decide that they are going to have to do whatever it takes to stay on the show until the other comes in.  In a way - although he could have done this WAY differently - Joe actually was being somewhat single minded in that he came on the show for one person and that was it.  (Take the way he handled Juelia out of the equation for a minute).  If Joe had had one lick of decency and common sense he could have turned this into more of a romance - he wasn't going to play the field, he just wanted Samantha.  That loyalty is ok.  BUT if they wanted to be with each other... why come on this show?  Why not just meet?  So then you have to go back to - these people just want to be famous.  And I don't think Joe really wants to be famous, he seems uncomfortable with the cameras.  Samantha sure wants to be famous.  That makes her seem like a manipulative jerk.  Then you take Joe and his treatment of Juelia.  He knew he had to manipulate someone to be on the show so he picked the most naïve and (let's be honest) least intelligent person out of the group.  He was just using his people manipulation skills to pick the best person.  He didn't care about her, her feelings, or how he would be portrayed.  Samantha seems to make sure she always looks perfect and is smiling and laughing in front of the camera.  Seems like she is really manipulating quite a bit and getting what she wants.  I hope that Joe and Sam are really forced to examine their actions as people - they deserve some serious feedback.

Juelia - I am having a hard time finding sympathy for her.  She just seems so lazy.  In particular lazy minded.  I hate being so critical but honestly - when people are going out of their way to tell you that someone is not ok, and you ignore it... then that person acts exactly as they said he would... in fact Joe confirmed even before Jonathan and Mikey talked to Juelia that he was not into Juelia (ignored her all day).  These are not the actions of someone that is into you.  When someone likes you they do whatever it takes to spend time with you.  Look at Jade and Tanner and the other good couples.  It was clear Joe was not into Juelia.  She is sort of acting the victim to get others to get angry on her behalf instead of addressing it head on and calling the two of them out.  She needs a little Crah crah Claire for a moment.  I just don't think she ever sat down and really thought anything about this scenario through.  Maybe she is drinking and relaxing and not really working this through in her mind?  I don't know.  As for Tanner not saying something - I think this chalks up to the men sticking together.  Joe, Tanner, Jared were all close on their season.  They are going to cover for each other.

Megan - Speaking of lazy minded... she was dim witted during Chris's season, although she is very nice.  But I swear the IQ of the people on this show is pretty low as an average.  I really can't watch her either.

Favorite quote of the night is from Jared - "Who would have thought that I would be liking JJ more than Joe at any point of time"

Ashley Cryer - I literally cannot stand another second of air time with her.  She is so irritating.  It seems she isn't gone for awhile which is annoying because I have to fast forward through her interviews she is so irritating.  Jared definitely tells her he is still in love with Kaitlyn which is obvious to anyone that watches this show for more than two minutes.  He isn't pursuing anyone and seems completely uninterested in a relationship.  Just wanted a vacation?  Thought he was ready?

Kirk and Carly - Cute couple but won't last.  I adore Kirk - wish I could date him.  I think that he is intelligent and well rounded and I think they are a cute couple but he needs more for a long term relationship.  I think that the qualms he was having on the date he should have listened to.  I think they were telling him this won't last.

They need to add more people and quickly because I don't think that there is much available for matches out of the non coupled folks.  Also - do you think the BIP folks could just kick Sam and Joe out?

I'm beginning to wonder, based on this season, whether there will be a BIP3.  I think the outrageous "plot" lines and behavior are turning off a lot of tried and true fans.  JMO.

Yea I was a bit annoyed that they really drew out the night last night instead of resolving some of the big issues going on.

Does anyone know how many more episodes of this trainwreck are left?

For some unknown reason, newto, America seems to be in a niche in which they're craving more and more of the outrageous, the sensational, the sick, the depraved and emotionally disturbed.  And let's not forget the rich and famous.  Perhaps they're so accustomed to this fast-paced world, they become easily bored with ordinary reality.  Vicarious thrills to take them out of their day-to-day existence.  Who the hell knows?  LOL>

The more disgusting this show becomes, the better the chance for a renewal next season.  Personally, I'd like to see us evolve beyond the garbage.

Did you watch the After Paradise show?  Chris was saying something about how BIP this season is very interesting to people or something along those lines.  He sounds like the show is doing very well and Joe will be on After Paradise next week.  You should watch the After Paradise show.

The problem with Juelia is I don't find her very interesting.

I don't think this show is very different from how real life is.  I don't think most people are normal and dull unless maybe you followed them around all day.  Most people have some oddity or unusual things happen in their lives.  There is a lot or some dysfunction going on in a lot of people's relationships.  They just may not be necessarily on TV to show us.

I wish Dan had gotten into more detail about what turned him off to Ashley.  We can only guess but it's interesting how the show didn't get into it more, unless they thought it would make Ashley look really bad or exploit her.  Though they didn't care about that before.  Maybe they thought the audience would think why did they put her on the show if she was that disturbed.

I don't remember Jared saying he is still hung up on Kaitlyn.
