NEXT WEEK ON BACHELOR IN PARADISE (8/18)

A DEBILITATING INJURY COULD SEND ONE BACHELOR HOME TOO SOON AND TWO NEW BACHELORETTES JOIN THE HOUSE WITH ONE MAN IN MIND, ON “BACHELOR IN PARADISE,” MONDAY, AUGUST 18 AT 8:00 P.M. ET/PT

Episode 103 – This week on “Bachelor In Paradise” we return to find the remaining contestants still recovering from a dramatic rose ceremony. The couples are really beginning to bond, but to their surprise, there is already a new bachelorette back at the house waiting for them and she knows exactly what she wants, Marquel. Even though Marquel and Michelle Money seemed to hit it off, this new bachelorette waste no time getting in between the couple, and asking Marquel to accompany her to the historic and charming Hacienda Uayamon in Campeche.

With Marquel on a date with another woman, Michelle M. plans a romantic double date with her new crush, Robert, and blossoming couple Clare and Zack. Meanwhile, Elise is elated when she receives a date card and Chris B. agrees to accompany her on a romantic overnight stay at the luxurious Hacienda Puerta Campeche. Before they leave, however, the excited bachelor sustains a debilitating injury that could put their date and his time in paradise in jeopardy.

After Marquel returns from his date, he is asked out yet again, this time by the newest sexy single to enter the house. Wasting no time, Marquel agrees and heads to the enchanting Edzna Ruins. Later, Ashlee finally gets her wish to take Graham on an overnight date in the state of Campeche, though Graham seems to have some reservations. The night of the rose ceremony, the cast gathers at the glamorous Casa Palapa where six men will each hand out a rose, meaning two unlucky ladies will be sent home. But in a shocking twist, two people unexpectedly leave Paradise for good!

I'm somewhat confused about Chris B.'s description. I read that he injures his knee which is no doubt the injury in the above preview. However, they showed a preview of him talking like he wanted to shed Elise. ????

Somehow, I can't picture Robert being Michelle's new crush. They'd look like mother and son. This guy looks like he's 15. I think she and Marquel have been biding their time while they await future arrivals.

Given the lack of approach by Marquel, I think he was promised a woman or two of color. IMO, get ready for a change in his demeanor.

Grant has reservations? Seriously??? Just because he gets an overnight date with the dragon lady? This man should head for the hills with plenty of guns and ammo, snares and bear traps, and a flame-thrower.

Any guesses on who the "unexpected" departures might be?

I think Graham has become the "old and wise man" of BP and BIP. I will bet he ends up with no-one at the end, and I think that is just what he wants. He is just not interested in a serious relationship of any kind.

I don't think Marquel is committed to only dating women of color. He seems quite free to get involved with white women as well. JMHO.

Isn't Robert the one Desiree left on the railroad tracks? Says something about how "exciting"of a person he is.

I don't remember the details of Robert's departure, but I do recall someone being left on the tracks. It was him? Oh, my.

Marquel hasn't shown the slightest inclination to put a move on either Andi or Michelle. Never even talked about it. But it shows (is it?) Danielle in the previews and it looks like an ocean romp for the two.

I wouldn't disagree about Graham. I didn't watch the season he was on. Didn't start until Jason. I know a lot of the ladies are hot for him. He seems the most mature and settled of the entire bunch.

I agree that it seems like Michelle and Marquel are bidding their time until others come along....after all, a rose is a rose. I saw a pic this week that Michelle posted of Marquel after the show aired and everyone heard Marquel get on her about drinking...not pretty. Sounds like she isn't too fond of him. The previews showed Cody showing up anyway and he sparks her interest. I don't get the whole beefcake mentality. They always show him flexing his over-done body.

Graham should really think twice before accepting that date with the Psycho Bitch...especially with it being an overnight date. Lord only knows what she would try. We also remember from WTA that with her what goes on in the fantasy suites don't stay in the fantasy suites. He should just give someone else his rose at the ceremony and send her packing before she skewers somebody. Wouldn't that be great if she was one of the "surprise" eliminations?

If this injury is to Chris B. I doubt he will go home....too many women to bed and so little time. Every time I see him on one of these shows I feel like I need to take a shower and scrub that icky feeling off. He grosses me out.

I feel the same way as you do rkc about Chris B. I thought Marquel was out of line with that questioning of Michelle about drinking especially when he was drinking a glass of wine at the time. I'm surprised she gave him the rose after that.

I wonder how Graham is going to get rid of Fatal Attraction II - that Lady (and I use the term loosely) is outright scary!! Her eyes bugged me on Sean's season and they haven't changed one bit on Bachelor In Paradise. IA it would be great if she was one of the "surprise" eliminations along with Chris B. Unfortunately that one won't probably happen.

.....Oh, and btw, there was an article that RS heard from one of his "sources" that Chris signed the paperwork a few days ago to be the next Bachelor. Not sure what all those Arie rumors were about.

Yes I have heard those rumors but RS had also said the same thing about Roberto and it turned out to be very wrong because Sean was the bachelor not Roberto. I would love to see Chris as the bachelor but am waiting to hear the announcement by ABC before I do my happy dance. If it is Arie I won't be watching because I have no respect for that guy. I didn't watch Juan Pablo and it didn't cause me any grief and so missing another season is just fine with me.

It makes one wonder why they're waiting so long to seal the deal and announce the Bach. Cold feet? Disinterest? It would be really nice if they showed us someone new instead of skewing the personality of someone we're familiar with.

I agree about Ashlee. I understand the abandonment issues, but gimme a break. Does this mean if she decides to latch on to someone, they're beholden to her? Seems that way.

Singly just because they have not announced it yet does not mean they haven't 'sealed the deal'. They don't usually announce the bachelor this early and Juan Pablo was an exception and that is probably an exception they wish they hadn't made and that included who they picked for that season. You are not going to see someone new because it is too risky to bring someone on that is not familiar with the way the program is run. The last time they did that did turn out good at all and that was Jesse Palmer who wanted to leave by the filming of the 3rd episode and look at the trouble they had with Juan Pablo who was only on for 6 episodes. I understand why they don't go down that road again - they have a show they want to produce with the least amount of glitches possible.

I'm not kidding rkc when I refer to her as Fatal Attraction II. I was really worried when she was on Sean's season of what she might do or what she was capable of doing. The death stare is another good description for expressions. There is at times pure evil in her eyes and no kindness towards others at all. Yep she is truly scary!

LOL, rkc. I remember that stare. She has an "all about me" vibe. I get what I want or there's hell to pay. I can only imagine what she put those adoptive parents through. It's likely they did all they could to make up for her being abandoned. Unfortunately, it doesn't work that way in the real world.

SLA, you make very good points about them wanting a seasoned vet to take on the combat zone of the Bach.

Exactly singly ~ they need to cast 25 new men for the bachelorette season as well as 25 new gals for the bachelor season. They very seldom recycle for these positions and when they have, as in the case of Kacie B., she was an extra contestant so there was 26 instead of 25. I don't recall them doing it with a guy - Chris B. was shown in Andi's season as trying to get back on but there were already 25 guys there and I think it was just a stunt drummed up by TPTB to create a little drama.
