Robert Palmer Watkins aka "Dillon" Gone?!?!?!?!?!!!!!!!!

I can't believe what I read today....that TPTB at GH fired Robert Palmer Watkins!      Are they nuts?   The thing the show needs so much is a rebirth of the Quartermaine clan. It was looking like Dillon teaming with Ned was going to be awesome.

Yep he is gone and Robert was blindsided by the firing I hope they recast him Kiki needs Dillon in her life she can't lose two boyfriends in two years

Sometimes I really don't understand the idiots in charge decisions. You want to cut costs? How about getting rid of the newbies like Amy, Auntie Stella etc.

Instead of watching a story about Chet, Amy's brother who needs medical help... we've never even seen the guy and they make a whole story about him. The story involves an invisible Chet, Amy that I dont know about, and they use Nathan and Maxie around it. Come on, it should be the opposite.

Dillon could be in so many stories, interesting and exciting, because he has ties with the whole town. But no, no, no, no more Dillon, let's watch aunt Stella, Jonelle from hell and annoying Amy...

ditto Rumba! I so agree, that there was NO need to add to this inflated cast! why couldn't they just replace, for example Nik, who was such an integral part of PC! Also, letting Hayden go, was further and another blunder on the "idiots" docket! Left a hole with Finn, and I really liked them as a couple! she may have started out with a sketchy past, but certainly, turned it around, and I miss her!!!!!
plus, this whole Jason, twobees, now supposedly he's (Billy) Drew - I am SOOOOOOO miffed, I scream at my TV. I did not want Burton back, nor was he needed! I want Billy to be JaSam, and I'm so very satisfied, with his Morgan-Quartermaine life and changes he's made with this character!
Dillon and Kiki, were great together and I definitely enjoy him and Ned, in fact, all the Quartermaines, the back-bone of GH!!!!!
After today's show, actually, several days ago, I was going with the idea, Nell actually caused her ex's death, and today, i'm really hoping it is true, and she's another who wasn't needed on the show, especially after what she pulled with Sonny! So I never liked her from the beginning!

I wonder with all the focus on Morgan if he has been recast, or is coming back??? Then Dillon being gone would allow Kiki and Morgan to get back together. Altho
it looked today as if Michael and Kiki were friendly again.

I picked up the latest copy of ABC Soaps in Depth this week. It is dated Oct 9 - OCT 23. Much to my surprise there is an article on page 58 "Take this job and [Heart] It!" with a nice big photo of Robert Palmer Watkins and a Q&A on what it is like to "punch the clock in Port Charles". No mention at all of his being let go!?!?!? Just a wee bit strange.

He said he was going to be there for Kiki...so maybe TPTB changed their minds. He shouldn't have been let
go in the first place, there are so few Quartermaines
they can't afford to lose any more. Ned and Dillon and
Michael and Jason (1 and 2) and Monica are all that's left. I miss Tracey. She gave the family some personality...but Ned and Dillon are her sons and if
written correctly they could make up for Tracey's absence.

what about his plans for getting involved with ELQ, and the tension/rivalry we all saw beginning between him and Michael?

and what's been going on with Ned and Olivia? I honestly do love them together,,,
so,,, are they planning to move out of the Q mansion and get their own place? or maybe they already have?

I'm very glad GH has (hopefully) decided to keep our Dillon... Thumbs up!

but I really miss Ned.
