There were some people who evacuated from Florida and have filled up hotels in Alabama and Tennessee.

Hope everyone is safe and can return to homes that
aren't heavily damaged.

taking a quick break from the clean-up...my house has some damage, but I;m doing okay,
finally got electricity.. feeling extremely fortunate, considering how terribly others have suffered....

I;m keeping in touch with MP, they still have no power, but she and her hubby are okay, too...

I've lived in FL since 1968, and I've been through more than a few hurricanes, but this was so massive -
and so many people lost everything.

So glad to hear from you. Sorry you had damage. News said this one was worse than Andrew.

Something like hurricanes really put things in perspective. 
People are experiencing things in real life that make
soap opera characters' tribulations so trivial by
comparison.

But viewers continue to watch them anyway. And this
forum gives us the opportunity to voice our opinions.
We care about the characters on screen and we care
about each other. 

I hope our entire little group is all back together soon.
