Well done. I thought a bit overscored. To me Simone is not as good as Laurie but she will be a favourite. I think she will win barring a major stumble.

Do you think she will win because she is a gymnast? I think there is some good competition and enough with the gymnasts and Olympic medalists winning. It's so predictable.

JMO her moves look more gymast than dance, which to me looks jerky not smooth, but nice job!

I thought she felt uncomfortable. She executed it, but she didn't live it. I'm also surprised that Sasha hasn't connected with her as easily as he normally does. Talk about chemistry. He may feel the pressure that Val felt last season.
I liked Laurie better. She had that unique combination of easy-going unconcern, determination, and total trust in her partner. So far, I don't get that from Simone.

Good job, Mrs. Presley! Better than last week. I enjoyed seeing Simone's fun loving side coming out. But then, it's impossible to dance with Sasha and not have some fun. 9s too high, I thought.

Yes, they are improving. Still I don't see winner written on her forehead. Something is missing, and it might not even be her fault. Remember Sasha with Snooki? He's not himself somehow.

There is something not quite coming together here.
I think why I think her dances look like gymnastics is because she is so muscular and short it's like she is all muscles. I do enjoy watching them.

I agree sis and bro, Simone isn't transitioning seamlessly from a gymnast to a dancer. The routines still have that feel of well, a gymnast dancing! Don't get me wrong, I like her and she is doing a lot of good things but - as DMD says winner isn't beaming out in flashing lights.

I was very disappointed in this routine. Because it was a routine, a gymnastic floor routine. Sasha was actually superfluous, Simone did what she is best at. Beautifully, I might add, but I wanted dance not gymnastics. She had that connection breakthrough last week and I thought, good, here we go now. Now I'm thinking it was a choreographic disconnect and mistake on Sasha's part. Maks messed up too, what's up guys?

I couldn't help but think of Mark Ballas and how he called out Aly for her 'stage smile', because I saw the same thing happen on Simone's face. There was no connection to the character; just execution. The movement was so clean it was almost antiseptic.

Simone and Sasha got to visit Ellen earlier this week. Simone is almost 21!

Pretty good. I think the judges saw more in it than I did. Only Sasha dd a gymnastic move, I am grateful for that. Had to laugh over Simone crushing on Rashad.

I believe Nick had it right. 9s were too generous.

It may seem as if I have something against Simone, which isn't true, but for me Nancy was far more sexy in her Samba than she was. Also Artem's choreography was much more to my taste. The weird thing about Simone is that she has amazing body control (as Len pointed out) yet at the same time lacks body awareness (does that make sense?) Must be the missing life experience, and knowing she's four years older, it's much more disturbing than in Laurie's case. On top of that, the cheesy stage smile was back and ruined what was left.
Just moving her body (or shaking her ass- let's go there) isn't sexy yet. It's the attitude that makes it appealing, and I don't think she had it. The package told the story. I expected Bruno and Carrie Ann would sense that, but no. I agree that Nick got it right- that wasn't worth three nines.

I don't even necessarily want Simone to win and I get what you're saying about her including smile. She doesn't have to smile so much. But just that particular dance, I liked her better than I wanted to. Maybe it was the song, costume and choreography. Without me comparing her to anyone else, I just liked her more than I thought I would.

You are right. She is a likeable little lady, and I hope I made it clear that I don't blame her personally for struggling with the sexy. Oddly, I think we rather have to blame Sasha. He still hasn't found the key to help her get into character, and not only the sexy one. It was the same in other dances before. I said at the start I don't see them as winners, and they haven't changed my mind yet.

I thought she seemed a little flat footed in that dance and I wish they would not have done so many gymnastics moves.
