How Will the Season 24 Finale Work?

I'm a longtime viewer of DWTS and this website.  I'm puzzled as to how many couples will be 
competing in the season finale, which is scheduled to be broadcast on Tuesday May 23 2017.
If this is the case, and there are now only five couples left, then there would be four 
couples left after next week's elimination (May 8).   This would leave three couples left to 
compete after one couple is eliminated on May 15.  Usually the two night final starts out with four couples 
dancing on Monday night.  Then, after Monday nights audience vote, the final 3 couples  
compete in the Tuesday night finale.   Does anyone have any information on how this will
play out?

Thank you for the clarification.  Four couples would compete on May 15.  The May 15 elimination would leave 
3 couples to compete in the 2 night final.
