I didn't know her at all before the show, but she's definitely an eyecatcher. My only concern is that Gleb might to go a bit too far just to prove he can do as well as with Anita on SCD, and that he's worth the money.

Jana seems like such a sweet person. But man! What a bad history she has with men! In 12 years, she has married three times and none of those marriages lasted.

The first one in 2004 was to a man named Gambino. It only lasted several months.

The second one was to an actor. They met on set while doing a movie and married six months later. The marriage lasted only a month.

Then she met another singer in June 2012, got engaged 6 months later, and then split 8 months later.

Finally, she met a football player, they got together, then broke up because he cheated on her, then she forgave him and they got back together, they got married, they stayed together long enough for her to have a child but before the child was 7 months old, her husband was cheating on her with a PAID escort so they separated and he is now in rehab for "sex addiction".

Duh

And she still smiles...

Yes brother...I had those thoughts too, but we'll see. Gleb and Artem both to me lack a connection with their partners. Sometimes I feel it's more about proving what they can do. Now Jenna, seemed to be more about making Jakes time fun and enjoyable, like Maks I think they know they don't have a winner or even a finalist so they just want to make the experience good for them.

Back to Jana.....it is lovely to watch her dance, I am enjoying this team.

I don't think Gorgeous Gleb is lacking in self esteem at all but I think he and Jana have a good connection. He was very concerned with her injury and worked around it the best he could.

If this team should emerge from the dance off without immunity they will get all my votes. (I took the plunge and I can vote now). If Team Glamer snags immunity then Babyface and Allison are my team. I am, of course, acting on the assumption that James and Sharna will be one of the immune couples.

I certainly want Jana and Gleb to get that immunity next week. After all, it's only the second elimination of the season, and there will only be 6 couples that the elimination can come from.

I'm with you, Sis. IMO Jana and Gleb are the sexiest couple this season, and I will hate to see them not receive immunity. Sad

Cirque is shining its sun on “Dancing With the Stars.”
The ABC dance-contest show is partnering with Cirque du Soleil for its upcoming show, “Dancing With the Stars: The Results” on Tuesday night. All 11 couples in the current season will perform numbers inspired by Cirque’s shows on the Strip, as well as the touring production “Kurios – A Cabinet of Curiosities,” “La Nouba” at Disney World in Orlando, Fla.; and “Paramour” on Broadway.

The bulk of these numbers will be staged in the “DWTS” studio ballroom in L.A. (the show is actually presented in the CBS Studios facilities), but pro dancer and choreographer Gleb Savchenko and country-music artist Jana Kramer are rehearsing and performing at Love Theater at the Mirage.

The song plucked from the show “The Beatles Love” is “Here Comes the Sun.” The sun prop from the show is being employed in the number, though no Cirque artists will dance in the act.

“We’ll be doing a foxtrot to it, and it is a very happy song,” Savchenko said. “The song is chill, but the dance is fast, very happy and loving and matching the happiness of the song.”

Seated at Savchenko’s side and holding a bag of ice (though there are no serious maladies to report), Kramer said, “We’re going to enliven the song. We have to do something special. We would get zeroes if we just sat there.” She laughed and added, “Even though I would love to just sit there.”

The partnership is seeded in a conversation between “DWTS” reps and Cirque exec Jerry Nadal in the fall of 2014. That connection led to two couples – Nick Carter and Sharna Burgess, and Tamar Braxton and Valentin Chmerkovskiy – dancing to “Hey Jude” in November 2014.

This year, the two sides are going full-tilt with Cirque’s creative participation in Tuesday’s show, with many performances in L.A. invoking the troupe’s artists and stage effects. The couples and collaborating shows: Kenny “Babyface” Edmond and Allison Holker, “Love”; Marilu Henner and Derek Hough, “Ka”; Laurie Hernandez and Valentin Chmerkovskiy, “Michael Jackson One”; James Hinchcliffe and Sharna Burgess, “Paramour”; Calvin Johnson and Lindsay Arnold, “Kurious”; Terra Jolé and Sasha Farber, “O”; Ryan Lochte and Cheryl Burke, “O”; Maureen McCormick and Artem Chigvintsev, “Mystere”; Amber Rose and Maksim Chmerkovskiy, “Zumanity’: and VanillaIce and Witney Carson, “La Nouba.”

Savchenko has seen a few Cirque shows and said he has always been impressed with the artists’ choreography. Kramer, has never seen Cirque, though she plans to see “Love” during her stay.

“I do know that it’s very bright and big, very cool and very creative,” Kramer said, then rose to venture to rehearsals, and her first Cirque experience – from the stage.

That's obviously an error. But I am wondering if the bit about them not doing their dance in the ballroom is an error as well. How can the judges judge remotely? The camera angles hide things.

Yes it does seem that is a mistake, I saw a commercial for Monday night and that's when the dances are.

Since Jana made the comment about Laurie getting all tens because she can do flips, maybe it will give Jana an advantage not being judged live, I don't know, but I like that song and it sounds like a fun dance.

Here Comes the Sun is one of my favourite Beatles tunes and I look forward to seeing this super attractive couple dance to it.

Because this Cirque theme seems tailored specifically for Laurie's advantage I really hope some of the other couples can benefit from it as well.
