I am watching DWTS, the late version (Spokane feed) so I just saw James and Sharna doing a very wonderful foxtrot. I think James is a natural and I'm so glad!

If you can go on all access on your computer and click on ballroom and you might get to see the protesters rush the floor towards Lochte during CA critiquing Lochte

Re: The Hinchburg Chronicles
They did not disappoint at all - they did a great job and scored very well for the first night. I gave them half of my votes and look forward to seeing them next week. They are definitely a couple to watch!! Scoring 31 on opening night is absolutely fantastic and they are tied for 1st place at the end of the night.

I was able to see it on You Tube... awesome. I think my favorites are Sharna and James and Laurie and Val.

Ha! If I didn't have Dish, I'd be watching it off the Spokane feed too! I'm just a couple hours south of there.Lesallee wrote:I am watching DWTS, the late version (Spokane feed) so I just saw James and Sharna doing a very wonderful foxtrot. I think James is a natural and I'm so glad!

Re: The Hinchburg Chronicles
My cable package actually gives me three options, watch at 6 from a Detroit station or wait til 9 when it's aired on ABC Spokane and CTV 2. Just happened to view the ABC Spokane version last night.
But anyway you watched James and Sharna it was pure joy. I hoped so much James would wow us and he darn well did!

Between myself and my son and granddaughters, we have so many phones, laptops, and everyone being on facebook we got a lot of votes in for James and Sharna. I told them they needed to help me support my wronged Canadian family member with votes for TeamStopAndGo!!

Re: The Hinchburg Chronicles
Thank you my lovely sis. Browns me right off not being able to vote for James and Sharna, They were so good and wonder of wonders, I think Len likes James! That is a good omen because Len can get a hate on for young handsome men and then his scoring gets wonky. But really, what's not to like about our Hinch?
I am actually contemplating acquiring a VPN. Then I can vote on DWTS and The Voice. Plus I can watch Strictly live and vote there too. I'm still researching the best VPN for my buck.

Re: The Hinchburg Chronicles
I have seen that footage of the horrendous crash James was in before but when they showed it last night I was horrified all over again. And amazed that James survived it but survive he did, albeit it was a long recovery. Now here he is, the best male celeb on DWTS! Gotta love him.

It stands for Virtual Private Network and I guess it can allow you to basically hide your internet address so you can vote. Not totally sure how it works.SLA44 wrote:Sorry for my ignorance on some things but what is a VPN?

Derek mentioned in an interview that James is a better dancer than any other male celebrity that he has ever seen on the show in week 1. He's mightily impressed.

Glad to hear it - first the complement by Len and then by Derek all good for James.Psychee22 wrote:Derek mentioned in an interview that James is a better dancer than any other male celebrity that he has ever seen on the show in week 1. He's mightily impressed.

Re: The Hinchburg Chronicles
I see James as being a more likely MBT winner than Laurie. He seems to tick all the right boxes.

Re: The Hinchburg Chronicles
No words can describe how gorgeous Sharna looked in that Foxtrot, and how well she choreographed it to make James shine too. However, we all know early leadership can be a curse, and they have yet to prove the can maintain the level with only four days to practice. But as things look now, James is a cool guy and likely to not get into his head. Not even with so much praise from Derek. Pretty impressive though. I don't think he will put Sharna and the fans through as much ups and downs as AB did last season.

Re: The Hinchburg Chronicles
i am not a Sharna fan....but i really like the James & Sharna partnership and gave them some votes....if James is good at Latin and all the other (non-ballroom dances they do on the show) i see them going to the finals

Re: The Hinchburg Chronicles
I think Sharna has found the partner she's been waiting for, bro. They simply click on all levels and are having a great time. Not to mention how attractive they are together! Next week will be challenging for them because of James' big race but after that, he promises Sharna he's all hers. Moving to California for the duration and dedicating himself to dance.
I have heard here and there, nothing definite, that their dance next week is likely to be a tango or paso. I can picture James doing either very competently.

Re: The Hinchburg Chronicles
Dancing With the Stars Insider from buddy TV rated the first dances. Top Five:
1. James and Sharna
2. Laurie and Val
3. Jana and Gleb
4. Vanilla and Witney
5. Calvin and Lindsay
Pretty well where I rated them although I would put Calvin and Lindsay ahead of Vanilla and Witney,
On the bottom, Rick and Emma with Maureen and Artem second last.
How I wish Emma and Artem could have contenders for once.
