Re: The Hinchburg Chronicles
Thanks, sue, I had missed the Video Diary. James was in a reflective mood.

Re: The Hinchburg Chronicles
I think Len is jetlagged Monday nights, and James and Sharna are suffering from it. Hope they win him over tomorrow. It would be a shame if James took a dip because he feels his effort isn't rewarded. Kind of what happened to Charlie White.

Re: The Hinchburg Chronicles
Mr. Grumpy will be absent tomorrow night, bro. And next week, I believe.
I am anticipating a marvelous QS from our team. Whether the scores will reflect it or not is another thing. Because a Cirque night is custom tailored for Laurie all other couples will likely be a step behind. Wish it wasn't so but DWTS loves to manipulate proceedings.
One good thing, Bruno likes our boy!

I forgot the old geezer is having a vacation. I'm fine with Bruno and Julianne. Wonder if CA will take over and be picky, like she did with Sharnick. It may seem indeed that everything's laid out for Laurie, but let's see it first.

I know, I'm projecting and I shouldn't but when the Cirque theme was announced I just groaned. Didn't Jana say Laurie will get all tens? So I'm not alone.

This is James' dog Lou with her good friend. I know Brother DMD will say she has great taste.

Lesalee, which dog belongs to James? Is it the Pug? That picture is so cute.!
Also while we are waiting for the Cirque show, enjoy this Canadian commercial for Honda that James did earlier. Maybe you"ve seen it already?

Lou is the cockapoo, sue.
Hadn't seen that commercial, I love his "racing hair" too!
Julianne suggested James get into acting and he sort of shook it off, but hey, I think he's a natural!

Re: The Hinchburg Chronicles
I don't even think he's acting that much. In everything I've seen so far, it is really him. Thanks for the pug, by the way. If I hadn't been a fan already, that would have won me over.
Good luck for tonight, Team StopAndGo. Better pull out the stops. Oh, how I hate that I can never watch it live.

Re: The Hinchburg Chronicles
I agree that James for the most part is being himself. He seems to love to talk to people, is perfectly comfortable talking in front of a camera, and expresses himself well. But I really would like to see him tackle acting more in a future dance. Halloween is on Monday this year, and I want to see James and Sharna make it to a Halloween-themed Team Dance (and to be on whatever team Derek is on).
Side Note: According to a poster on the other website, Sharna plans to break hold at some point in their quickstep tonight. I guess tonight is probably the best time to do it since it is a big theme night and Len is not there. Hopefully the content and execution is so good that they won't get penalized for it.

That commercial was fun... lol, racing hair.
I think James is a natural and would do just fine in acting.
Good luck team! You have my votes.

Re: The Hinchburg Chronicles
Pure delight! That would have been all tens but for a minuscule mistake that I, like Bruno, didn't see.
I guess we've seen our F2 tonight in James and Laurie. Third finalist is harder to predict, still some wild cards in the mix.

I just knew they were going to knock it out of the ballpark tonight. When they were done, I clapped. And I clapped. And I clapped. And there was no one in the room to hear me but me! All 10's from me!

Re: The Hinchburg Chronicles
I'm a West Coaster still watching the show and couldn't wait to see James and Sharna. Was so happy to see the video already up. Loved it! The set, dancers, and acrobats were great and fortunately didn't become distractions. James killed it, and I loved how Sharna twirled past the camera at the very end.

Re: The Hinchburg Chronicles
I LOVE THIS GUY!!!!!........Best for the last!!! Sharna I never have seen you have a partner that was equal to you, but the Mayor of Hinchtown is Romeo to your Juliet, Clyde to your Bonnie, Superman to your Lois Lane....well you get my drift....a match made in DWTS heaven!!!

Re: The Hinchburg Chronicles
I thought James looked rather emotional as he and Sharna were getting the critique. It was kind of inaudible at the end of their dance, but I think he was telling her that he had messed up a step. So the perfectionist in him was disappointed and maybe he even wanted to hide under his hat a little in order not to show it. But at the same time he was receiving so much praise for the dance. I think he started to feel better once they got their first 10 from Bruno.
