Reading a comment on another board about James really made me admire him even more. This poster is a car racing fan and quite knowledgeable about racing. She said James' race in Sonoma ended at 6p.m. and he didn't get to LA until after 1a.m. Couple that with the usual racer weight loss of 5-8 lbs. during a race and you can imagine how drained he was.

And yet he came out on that ballroom floor and killed it! No wonder Sharna has been talking all day about how proud she is of James. I think James is the partner Sharna has been waiting for all along.

So true. I said before the season Sharna should get a partner who combines the best of all the ones she had so far. There he is. The full package. That was a production you normally see from Mark or Derek (who got really excited up on the balcony), but neither that nor the lack of rehearsal threw James off. He can drive a car, and he can drive a dance. Sharna's creation was perfect for the theme, so go and eat your 7-paddle old grump.

Yes!  You saw that, too?  Derek was so excited at cheering for James that I thought he was in danger of falling off the balcony.

Afterward, the camera also caught him giving James dancing tips.

James and Sharna did a fun interview at KTLA. It is accessible from Pure DWTS who are really on the James/Sharna bandwagon and give them a lot of coverage.

James is going to do one of these every week for Sports Illustrated.

Can't embed the video. Find it here: Hinch's Elimination Night video.

Of course I noticed it! During the dance, I thought, 'hey Derek, are you watching? This should be right up your alley', and there he was. Not the first time he appreciated Sharna's work. Remember Team SharNick's Saturday Night Fever Samba.

Derek loves Sharna and vice versa.  They share a love of the artistic -- drawing, painting, colors -- beyond just dancing.  They have tremendous respect for the other's creativity.  And they are both good people.

And wasn't that a beauty in addition to tugging on the old heartstrings.

Sharna tweeted yesterday "got some hip action going on". Good, good, they've gotta nail that Cha Cha.

James is starting to attract lots of attention on Facebook, going from practically nothing to getting very favourable comments. I'll have to check the views for their Paso again today but yesterday they were leading.

Perky Laurie has taken the lead now in FB views but their video is near the top of the page so I'm not surprised.

I believe it will come down to a F2 of James and Laurie and my heart is set on James!

I believe she tweeted that she is now getting some hip action out of him, so that's good news!

Careful with your right foot, James. Remember Sharna is not a V8- she's a rocket.

Underscored I feel. Oh, well this whole face off thing was a shuffling of the deck. Meant to facilitate the exit of the couple the producers would like to go.
