First 4 performers tonight

I watched the first 4 performers so far. (I have to go to bed early, so I am not going to watch the rest tonight.) I feel the first one was too flat. The second on was ok. The third performance was a miss (there was a disconnect between him and the audience). The 4th one was the best so far overall (he seemed a little nervous, especially at the beginning). I did not really like the song choices of the first 3 performers that much. Hope the rest of the performers will be better.

Bach did you watch the women last night? If so what did you think? Randy Jackson had made a comment at the beginning of the show that the guys were magnificent this year and the girls had their work cut out for them. From the first four I think the women were better last night but there are still 6 to go!

Okay it did get better now I just have to wait until tomorrow night and see if any of the ones I liked make it through! :bounce:

I did not watch the women last night. We were all so tired, we went to bed early. Just like at the beginning of the Bachelor season, 20 names are too many for me to remember. I'll watch more when they narrow down the competition a little. I am glad to hear that it got better as the night went on. I think Randy is mostly spot on with his critiques. Too bad Simon left. He was tough but usually he knew what he was talking about.

I agree with you about Simon and really miss him a lot especially when Steven Tyler was being a judge - did not care for him at all. I do like Keith Urban though. Next week the real competition will begin so maybe you will be up to tuning in then!
