Motown Week Empty Motown Week

Post by singlyme Thu Mar 28, 2013 8:56 am

I found myself fast-forwarding through most of the show. A small sample, and moving along. I've come to realize there's too much music on this show that I'm not interested in hearing. I loved the Shirelles and Aretha. Aside from that, not a huge motown fan. That was left for my brother, ten years younger.

I like, and am fascinated by Devin, my little Bobby Hatfield resembler. I absolutely love Kree, but she'll eventually be singing her country songs. Don't listen to country. Cripes, I don't listen to ANYthing new these days. There was a sharp dividing line for me and music. When RAP made its entry, I took my exit. Up until then, I still found things on the pop stations that I wanted to hear. I'll admit to loving Florence & the Machine and Alex Clare. The oldies still beckon to me. ELO, Chicago...

I guess the bottom line is that I'm ready to dump Idol and see if The Voice has more to offer this season.

Later, guys.

Tonight was the third elimination night and Devin Velez was eliminated. All five gals were safe and the guys were all in the bottom three. So now there are only 2 guys left, Lazaro Arbos and Burnell Taylor and the way this season has been going it is going to be an all gal finale. The gals have definitely out sung the guys this season.

A-w-w-w. I realize he wasn't as dramatic or good-looking as the others. But he was precious.

My prediction is that we'll have Kree and Candace in the sing-off.

That is kind of what it is looking like right now but time will tell and you never know what may happen in these crazy shows!
